Palm Springs, California – A diamond of a golf outing awaits you 34th Annual Championship Golf Tournament
Hotel Tournament Headquarters will be at the Palm Springs Hyatt located in downtown Palm Springs. Hotel rates are $80.00 for the Deluxe One Bedroom Suite, plus tax. This includes a $7.00 resort fee for bellman and housekeeping tips and use of all the hotel’s amenities. We have 60 rooms blocked, but can increase that number as reservations go up. Be sure to mention NESRA. The Hyatt has Executive One Bedroom Suites and VIP Two Bedroom Suites for the rack rate per night plus tax. Some of the extras are tennis courts, a putting green, shuffle board court, volleyball area, basketball court and riding stables. The Hyatt has an on-property concierge, two nice restaurants and lounges, a beauty shop, a full-service spa to sooth your aches, a great pool area for your enjoyment, on-site car rental, plus their own transportation pool for transfers to and from the airport. It is walking distance from downtown Palm Springs. The Course The Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, a Palmer Managed facility, has two wonderful courses for our enjoyment. The Legend course, designed in the 1950s by Billie Bell, is a traditional 6500 yard layout, which was renovated recently, having over 40 new bunkers added. The Resort course was designed by Ted Robinson Jr. in 1995, featuring cascading waterfalls, lakes, and fountains highlighted by a breathtaking mountain backdrop. Entry Fee The entry fee remains $200 per player -- $800/4-person team. The entry fee includes three rounds of golf, shared cart, range balls, bag tags, cash prizes, all gratuities, plus door prizes at the opening and closing events. The tournaments for the men and women will be played simultaneously on the same golf courses. We will again have optional skins, by flight, for $5.00 per day. Scramble A fun tournament (four-person scramble) is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, at the Tahquitz Creek Legend Course. This event costs $55 (with cash prizes) and is not part of the regular tournament. It is open to both men and women. Other Entry forms will be mailed to last year's participants the first of April with an entry deadline of July 1.
